I'll See You in Hell

As Saevio stepped out into the coliseum, in front of a roaring crowd, he could feel his heart beginning to race and could hear the blood pumping through his veins. He was amongst some of the greatest hunters around, one who never lost a fight and had hauled himself slowly up the standings of the cats who fought here, and as such had earnt his owner a hefty income. This was his domain, and conflict was the air he breathed. The challenger entered the arena. He was a giant compared to the cheetah, but that didn't waver Saevios' confidence as he stood before the feline. The round began with a stare-down between the two cats and, naturally, jeers and slander were thrown across at one another. But the time for talk was over, the fight had begun.

For what seemed like hours the two cats went at each other attempting to rip one anothers' throats out of their still breathing bodies. Saevios' usual tactics to out manoeuvre and tire out his opponent seemed to be failing or at least wasn't making any kind of significant effect on his opponent. Over and over Saevio tore away at the larger cats flesh, blood gushing from the wounds he had made. Surely that must have made some kind of impact? Alas, it became more and more clear to Saevio that this cat was stronger than any other he had faced before and his usual efforts didn't seem to be working. So far the opponent hadn't even tried to attack the cheetah, though that would soon change. The cat lunged at Saevio, immediately attacking his head and sunk it's above his eye and dragged it's claws through his face. A mighty roar of pain erupted from his throat. His eyes remained closed but could feel the blood streaming down his face and down his chin. or a moment he thought for sure he had lost his eye though by some miracle it was spared, but for the remainder of the battle his sight was hindered as blood continuously flowed into it. Before Saevio could launch a counter-attack the cat was already on top of him tearing apart his back and pushing it's teeth into his rear leg. Another cry echoed from his maw and he instinctively kicked and slashed at the larger feline so no more damage could be done to his already beaten body.

A few moments allowed Saevio to right himself and got himself back up on his feet. He wiped away the blood from his face and opened his eyes for the first time after the barrage of attacks. As he looked at himself he couldn't believe how blood-sodden his fur was and as he saw the deep wounds the pain seemed to grow even more intense. He could hear the crowd cheering through the ringing in his ears, "What the hell!? These people where meant to be supporting him, not this monstrosity!" he thought. He locked his sights with the challenger and the two began to circle each other, however at this point Saevios' walking had reverted to more of a painful limp from the injuries he had sustained. They paused, a loud growl emanated from Saevio's lungs and he charged at the foe ignoring the pain he was in, the only thing he cared about now was ending this fight. As he sprinted, as did the opponent and the two cats tore up the ground as they ran as fast as they could at each other. The challenging cat unexpectedly leaped into the air and landed upon Saevio, pushing him to the ground with incredible force. He was pinned to the ground. Saevio could feel the heat coming from the unknown feline's breath. He starred up at the cat's protruding teeth and then up to it's bloodshot eyes, "I'll see you in hell" Saevio spat. The challenger raised up a paw, the other pressed hard on Saevio's chest, and with one swift yet brutal strike to the head everything went dark.

The story of Saevio's last fight as a hunter before he was kicked out by his owner, and also how he got the scars he bares today.
My poor baby went through a rough ride in his this battle ;n; I felt really bad when righting this but it was something I think needed to be done.
His life was spared but he's sworn revenge on the hunters and the cat that did this to him (idk who did it it's just a random cat but it would have been something from the first tier), so look out hunters Saevio's comin' for you!

I actually think writing the story took longer than the drawing haha! omg I can't write //shot

EDIT: Oh, I also wanted to mention that, unless you couldn't tell, Saevio had a pretty big ego as a hunter simply due to the fact that he was undefeated in the arena up until this moment. After this happened his reputation as fighter was all but destroyed, as he joined Air he started fresh and became a more humble cat, or at least no where near as egotistical as before. Aaaannddd he'd be about 2 years old at this point eue.
